Hey Fagareaders, sorry I’ve been MIA lately. Well I’ve been really busy trying to figure out which new theme to use on my Gmail account. Seriously though, i’ve been out banging some major hotties. Yeah some of them were mens ,but let me make this clear: I’m a pitcher not a catcher.

Now if your like me, you like helping people. Since I lack motivation (and a grad school degree), most of my jobs for the past several years have been customer service. I just loooooooove answering peoples’ questions. Well now you can just send them this helpful link as the internet equivalent of saying, “Help me help you.”

In the past, I have supported Nader’s efforts in trying to rally more support for third parties. I think that third party politics are important and necessary for the political future of our country, and I did not blame Nader for the defeat of Al Gore in the 2000 presidential election. However, it was not right or necessary for Nader call Obama a possible “Uncle Tom.”

Nader has also accused Obama of trying to “talk white.” First of all, Obama was raised by his white mother. Secondly, the phrase ‘talking white’ implies that white people culturally own a certain manner of speaking that a person of color cannot use unless they are attempting to be white. Not only is this racist, it’s also illogical. For example, if a black man speaks in a certain manner, he is speaking like a black person because he is a black person.

I agree that Obama ran on a fairly moderate platform. I hope that most liberals will not blindly support all his policies simply because he is a Democrat, but Nader’s attacks on Obama are bigoted and will not help create a useful dialogue.

Despite California’s reputation for progressiveness, this state has actually backslid from its original definition of marriage written in 1850, which used gender-neutral language. Anyway, everyone here at Fagabond is a little letdown about the passing of California’s Proposition 8, along with an amendment in Florida and another proposition in Arizona, all of which ban gay marriage. Arizona also passed an initiative banning adoption for unmarried couples and Nebraska passed an initiative banning affirmative action.

I don’t want to be such a negative nelly. Some good elections and ballot measure were won too, besides the obvious greatness of Obama winning the presidency, but I’m too despondent to type about it right now so check out this great post at Feministe.

While Obama is unfortunately not the socialist that McCain’s campaign tried to paint him as, I’m still excited about the presidential election results. Not surprisingly, Fox news is not. The online news headline this morning was, “A World of Trouble.” Of course, they don’t mean this in a negative manner! No, they are simply worried about the problems Obama will have to deal with, “the worst financial crisis in 70 years, as well as the task of winning the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.” (Which is an odd thing to say considering that the Iraq war has been established as pretty much un-winnable. Not to mention the whole “Mission Accomplished” stunt pulled a few years ago.)

The best comment on that article was left by flobama from D.C.:

“Socialist this…Rezko that… I’ve wanted to say this for 8 LONG years: America – love it or leave it!”

Hi everyone!!! Just like Skott said, we all like Halloween a lot here because we can dress however we like and the big kids at school won’t laugh or throw rocks at us or call us homos in front of everyone else until we’re alone and they corner us in a closet and try to feel us up… Whoo, memories!

Well, anyways, there’s this great movie coming out and it’s about zombies-no-gay zombies-no!-gay zombies that have gay zombie orgies!!!! Unfortunately, it’s not coming out until a week after Halloween, but it’s going to be so totally amazing and I can’t wait!

It’s called “Otto; or, Up with Dead People.” Here’s the preview:

I’ve done a lot of healing since my last psychotic break when I thought I was a robot, specifically the LESBOtron, a lesbian robot hellbent on conquering the planet. However, my therapist aka the only friend I have-which is sad because I pay her to talk to me-insists that I am not ready to dress up like a cyborg for Halloween and that doing so could trigger another breakdown. I would just hire another therapist but she’s the only one left in town who still takes my calls. (I suspect that’s because she likes hearing about the LESBOtron and her… “services.”) I don’t usually listen to what other people have to say, much less take their advice but under these extenua-beep!

BEEP BEEP BEEP BOOP BOOBEEP

This maddeningly pointless and dull blog entry is being interrupted to deliver an important message from the Emergencyborg Broadcast System. The LESBOtron has rebooted herself and is here to save you from the worst, most evil and terrible television.

I have witnessed the L Word and I have seen it ruin lives. (Ok, just my life but still-what is bad for the LESBOtron is bad for mankind because I am destined to rule your species and you will not want an unhappy leader.)

The sheer idiocy of this television “show” fried my entire board until only basic functions remained. My hard drive was operating at such low levels that somehow the humans convinced my sentient components that I was one of their fellow meat puppets. This is why I must destroy the L Word by murdering its creator, Eileen Chaiken. (Also, Shane is not hot. Why does everyone think she is so hot?) I am now the LESBOtron 5000, Killbot version. I will also annhilate every L Word fan that I encounter until I have eradicated Ms. Chaiken’s mindless minions. EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTS THIS TRIPE MUST DIE!!!

Here at the Big F, we’re all fans of Halloween. Which makes total sense since one of us thinks they’re a robot half the time and another one is an inaminate object and others of us are really into wearing clothes that don’t correspnod with their preferred gender and/or sex. So here’s the quick rundown on how things stand at the Fagablog:

Halloween = yes
Gender = maybe
Consensus reality = no

Well I’m sane and I don’t wear girly things cuz I’m a stud but I am really into zombie movies. also i really apprreciate all the sexy nurse and sexy lobster and sexy teenage mutant ninja turtle costumes eveyrone likes wearing.

So yeah I know it’;s not halloween until friday but lets be honest i’m going to be totally wasted this weekend and hooking up with all the ladies and gents wearing sexy pirate and sexy manta ray and sexy hamburger and sexy nuclear power plant costumes. So, Mantis/Skott/some-other-idiotic-version-of-this-lameness (Ma.S.S.I.Ve. Lameness) had to get two moles removed from his/her forehead because they were dysplastic. Well, two months later, one of them is growing back! This is probably bad news for Massive Lameness, but an exciting development on the front of the long-suffering health and beauty (beauty-hah!) aids in his/her apartment. Why? For the ignorant population, i.e. the vast majority of readers of this blog, I will kindly explain. Dysplastic moles can develop into skin cancer. Glorious, glorious skin cancer.
